Trash Threads - Behind the scenes..

Trash Threads is a new independant clothing brand set up by my friends Jenna Spence, Bethan Williams and Ashleigh Yates.

They use original photography and inspiration for their T-shirt designs. Aimed towards young people who love fashion, art, photography and music.

A few weeks ago we did the shoot for the t-shirt photography in areas around Manchester.

I helped out with photography/modelling and shot some footage for the behind the scenes video.

It was a great day and the photography has come out brilliantly!

The T-shirts are now available to buy at the Trash Threads launch night which is at BaaBar Fallowfield, Manchester, Thursday 8th December, 8pm - So be sure to come along if you're free and in the area!

The T-shirts will also be soon available to purchase on ASOS Marketplace..

HAPPY 1st BIRTHDAY LEMONADE MONEY!

Hello everyone..

It's the last day of November and a whole year since I first set up my blog Lemonade Money!

I know the past few months my posts have been lacking, and to be honest I haven't given it the attention I should, but with so much uni work I haven't had the time. However, all my work should be in, in two weeks time & I am free to enjoy Christmas & blog as much as I like.. But I couldn't go without doing a one year birthday post! 

Primarily the blog was mainly to present my fashion thoughts, wishlists, style ideas/inspiration and guilty pleasures, but as time went on I did sort of go off on a tangent and make it into a diary of ALL my interests, fashion still being the at the forefront, but Ive also talked about my music loves, trips/nights out/events, and people I admire etc..

A few people have suggested I should do outfit posts which I think I am going to begin to do in the New Year, as well as some other projects I have up my sleeve..

Anyway, thank you to everyone who has had a little mooch & I hope you continue to do so!

I have been dying for a vintage Versace piece for a while but the price point is way out of my league & noooowwww they have hooked up with one of the best value retailers on the high street, H&M - What could be better!?

It debut's 17th November in stores.. Get your tents at the ready!

 I think this last dress is my favourite piece.. It reminds me of something Carrie Bradshaw would wear in SATC.. So tacky but so chic!

Manchester's Indian Summer..

Has thrown us all a bit, because my summer clobber has long been packed away now!

But we cant deny that week of unexpected sun was bliss >> & now of course, in true Manchester style we are back to bleak skies and a shed load of wind, rain & even hail!

It's hard to feel motivated with this weather.. Little inspiration please!?

EXIT MAGAZINE x ADIDAS x ABSOLUT x LFW PARTY!

You might of read my earlier post explaining my opportunity to model for ADIDAS Originals and EXIT Magazine..

On Saturday 17th October I went down to London for the EXIT/ADIDAS London Fashion week party..

I have never seen a queue like it to get into somewhere. The party was held at the old sorting office in Soho and it wasnt quite what I expected..

I was thinking it was going to be sophisticated hors d'oeuvres and snotty uptight prada wearing devil's, but to my delight it was more WHP with unlimited Absolut cocktails and a crazy large amount of trendy London fashionistas - from models to designers to press to the cast of 'Dirty sexy things' & our now best friend Jamal Edwards, who is a lovely guy btw (rofl)! - They were playing some tune's too..

The photo's taken for the magazine were projected as huge images on the walls of the warehouse, as well as moving images that had been filmed of us during the shoot. It was crazy seeing myself but kinda cool I guess..

We had a fabulous night & I didnt want to leave..
