Thigh ink.

The word tattoo is said to have two major derivations- from
the polynesian word ‘ta’ which means striking something and the tahitian word ‘tatau’ which means ‘to mark something’.

I've been thinking about my new tattoo for a while.

I don't want to get it done yet as it would be too soon after the last, although I do know exactly what I want.

I'm keeping quiet on the exact deets, however I'll tell you that what I do want is script writing at the top of my thigh..

Tattoo's are art to me and I love this way of expressing yourself.

The words I am getting represent the longing to fulfill my passion's in my life.

FINALLY Spring is in the air and I cannot wait to spruce up my wardrobe with some colour.

I LOVE Topshop's wild printed blouses that are coming through and their 'Swedish Summer' theme with lots of crochet and suede.

I feel this summer's vibe is going to very much hippy like, with a lot more vibrant colour.. and most of all lots of turquoise stones, which has always been my favourite colour.

HURRAH FOR EBAY

Ok, I know this was reeeeallly naughty of me as I am supposed to be using my student loan to put a deposit down on a flat. Howeverrrrrrr, I have wanted a pair of these bad boys for SO long and can't get them anywhere in my size or colour that I want.

..Then ebay came along to the rescue.

I ended up paying far too much for these including delivery (not telling you how much!)

But I'll be sure to get my wear out of them.

Soo New year New hair-style right? Standard.

This time I wanted to do something a bit different.

So i've decided next week i'ma have it dip-dyed.

I wish I was brave enough to rock some of these looks..

But for now.. I'm going to go with the more natural colours like these chicks..

Yasmin: In the space of two years, Yasmin has gone from being one of the underground’s foremost female DJs to one of our exciting prospects for pop in 2011. Not only GORGEOUS, and super-stylish it turns out she’s also massively talented when it comes to writing and singing. Moving to London from Scotland two years ago, she’s since founded her own night, spun around the world for N.E.R.D., Taio Cruz and Eve, hosted a stage at Wireless and played sets at Glastonbury, Ibiza Rocks, and for Nike’s World Cup party at Selfridges. She is making me want dip-dye hair EVEN more!

Jessie J: She’s written number 1 hit 'Party in the USA' for Miley Cyrus and smash hits for Chris Brown, but now it’s time for incredible 22 year Old Essex born singer, songwriter Jessie J to enjoy her own acclaim with her first single 'Do it like a dude' currently at no12 in the Itunes charts and her next AH-mazinggg single 'Price Tag' soon to be released. I think she is going to be MASSIVE and I personally LOVE her.

RoxXxan: 21-year old, Birmingham born Roxxxan. Making her name with the Yogi produced Heavyweight that was featured on the Shank soundtrack, Roxanne Conway signed a deal with Polydor records earlier this year and is busy in the studio with Jakwob, Bless Beats, Futurecut, TMS and Mojam.

The Coolest City..

My trip to Amsterdam was not one to be forgotten.

I had the time of my life.

There were so many elements of the city that had me captivated..

First off the snow was heavy which swept over the canal's and little bridges and iced over the bicycles - everwhere looked stunning.

Secondly I've never known anywhere that is so open about sex and drugs.

It was very sad in a way to walk past windows of women parading themselves for a living, kinda hard to get you're head around.

TIMEWARP was insane (from what I can remember) - the stadium was huge and I danced all night long.

and finally... the shops!

I wish I had more time to look around properly but I did sneak off for a wander with the besty for an hour or so and wandered around the little vintage shops and cheese, pastry and chocolate shops until we were completely lost.

I purchased a lush red vintage Lacoste knit cardigan and a spike studded bracelet as well as other things..

Our flight got cancelled so we had to stay another night.. not going to lie I was pretty happy about that!

One of my friends got inked while we were there in the famous 'Hanky Panky's' where Kate Moss and Marron 5 have been tattooed also! I designed and drew here tattoo :)
